What would expect to find in your watch? maybe a quartz movement, kinetic movement or mechanical movement. Many watch companies product watches with a range of movements take for example DKNY, to buy a DKNY Watch you would expect to pay around the £95 to £150 mark with these prices both quartz and mechanical movements are available. What is the basic difference between a quartz movement and a mechanical movement? Quartz movements have few or no moving parts and require electricity as a power source. Mechanical movements rely on various parts working together to which utilizies the power stored in the mainspring.
